Italian school of the first half of the 18th century. Oil artwork on canvas depicting a refined landscape of good pictorial quality. In the foreground we find numerous characters accompanying the animals to graze while we glimpse some moored ships on the left. In the background we recognize a village and a castle with a medieval watchtower. Non-coeval frame in CarvingOne of the most used ornamental processes in the applied arts is by removing part of the material of the object with appropriate instruments and following a predetermined design to reveal the decorative motif.
